This flow chart might help explain how Osteoarthritis (OA), a very common reason for the use of hydrotherapy, affects your pet.

NARCH  (National Association of Registered Canine Hydrotherapists) recognises that the world of canine/small animal hydrotherapy can be very new and confusing to dog owners.

Their website has attempted to identify the key areas and provide useful information which we have shown below. However you can access the website by clicking on this logo link should you require further information:

At TPG Hydro we offer owners the opportunity to get in the pool and swim with their pets. There is, however, a restriction on this and that is that these types of sessions are for fitness and/or pleasure.  We would not recommend an owner provide specific hydrotherapy treatment to deal with an injury or for recovery post operation.

You are more than welcome to come and watch. Why not get involved, you could help encourage your pet to swim up and down the pool? Bring a favourite toy.

Numbers of people may be restricted to two within the centre and no children under 12 are not permitted.
